This article talks about how people would "likely" purchase a iPad 2 if the price dropped to $399. RBC Capital Markets conducted a survey of 1,100 consumers at the end of 2011 about their tablet buying plans. Of these 1,100, 20% said that they would likely purchase a iPad 2 if it were sold at $399 and up. With the upcoming release of the iPad 3, I'm not too amazed to see that most consumers would want the price of the second generation iPad to drop.
My thoughts on this, I wouldn't mind getting one for that price. I had been interested in getting one for some time now and dropping it down to $399 is probably a good thing. It would help add more interest to new Apple customers.

'Self-healing' cloud in the works at MIT
This article talks about MIT and the federal government investigating and working together to create a self-healing cloud infrastructure. This cloud surposely could identify cyberattacks and heal itself from any damages. As we began to head towards cloud networking, I think that this can help us understand more about it. If they do find a way to get this self-healing cloud working, it can be revolutionary for technology.

Man beats AT&T with Iphone throttling claim
In this article, AT&T loses it's throttling lawsuit to a California Man. The man who would receive $850 in damages, claims that it was not fair for the company to promise him "unlimited" service and then slow that service down. Though the man may have won the lawsuit, AT&T isn't going to give up. AT&T states that the reason why they they use such tactic is to keep data hogs in line.
I kind of think that it is unfair for mobile phone companies to mess around with their customers internet speed (Referred to as Throttling). People who are under the unlimited plan aren't getting their money's worth. I think AT&T and companies that uses throttling needs to find ways to fix their flawed plans.

SNL Skit and Movie
My thoughts on the SNL Skit, this can be used as a guideline for us technicians. As read in the book, it is never a good thing to talk down on your customers. As a result, you and your employers might get some backlash on your services to the customers. As a Support Technician, it is your job to help the customer and make them feel comfortable.
As for the movie, I believe that most of us older generation will have to face the fact that technology is playing a big part in our lives now. Times have changed and we, the old generation, has to face it.
There were a few point in the movie that I thought I could relate to. One being the ability to multi-tasking. I know for a fact that I do that a lot of times when I'm on the computer. And at some point when doing a essay, I would write a good 3-5 paragraph but would find out that each of the paragraphs don't match the other ones before that. Because of the evolution of technology, our successors don't understand what we've been through and how difficult life was when we were at their age.
